I am you

I am You!

I am the wind that blows
and your lights that brighten;
I am the concepts you think
and your conscience that flows
in your soul to heighten
the sigh of eyes you blink.
I am the will that rules
and the wisdom to meditate
your dreams, your hopes and acts;
I am your doubts that make you hesitate
on notions, reality, your world of facts.
I am your ego and character, I am you,
your caprices, free choices, and craziness;
I am your drive to power, richness, fame,
and material things? All of that too;
for it does not matter, it is all the same:
I am your peace, a transient state of happiness,
I am your knowledge, all you may find;
for I am your spirit, yourself, your mind.
